OUR CLASSES

At The Loft, we offer a variety of classes,
to allow you to discover a style or class that resonates with you.

VINYASA

Our Vinyasa classes are non-heated and act as a de-stressor and general mood-enhancer. The class is influenced by ancient yoga traditions, but inspired by contemporary influences. Our classes feature classic sun salutations and creative flow sequences.

Once the body is warm and switched on, we settle into deeper work, focusing on alignment, balance, and precision.

HEATED VINYASA

A Vinyasa Flow class in a heated, humid, room of 35° Celcius with 80% humidity. The focus in this class is on flowing from pose to pose and linking your movement with your breath. In our Vinyasa classes you will start with a centering and warm-up and then flow through various sequencing.

HOT 26 (BIKRAM) 

Hot 26 is a class that consists of a set series of 26 asanas (postures) and 2 breathing exercises and is practiced in a room heated to 36° Celsius with a humidity of 80%. Hot26 yoga is a sequence set in precise order. We work on one posture at a time, refining alignment and building strength and mental stamina. Each posture builds on the one before it, taking you deeper into your yoga body.

The heat and humidity are important elements of the Hot26 yoga approach. In a warm environment, muscles, joints and ligaments are able to stretch further without risk of injury.

SLOW FLOW

A Vinyasa Flow class in a heated, humid, room of 35° Celcius with 80% humidity. The focus in this class is on flowing from pose to pose and linking your movement with your breath. In our Vinyasa classes you will start with a centering and warm-up and then flow through various sequencing.

MOVE

Get off your mat and into space. 

Move classes encourage and challenge you to utilize the space around you and move your body in new and dynamic ways that will help you build strength and flexibility and awareness of how you navigate space.

Expect a unique blend of techniques including animal movements and crawling patterns, undulating, hopping, skipping, and jumping, amongst others.
For this class we suggest you wear comfortable, non-restrictive, loose-fitting clothing and that a light long-sleeve top can also be useful.

Empowering you to discover your own authentic expression of movement through somatics, embodied yoga asana, primal movement, experiential anatomy and non-dual tantrik philosophy.
